Michael Andretti

Team: Newman-Haas

After an dissapointing year in '94, Michael will be looking for consistantly high finish this year. I think he'll shine on street circuts as he did last season, winning the first race at Surfer's Paradise in Australia, and at Toronto. As Andretti proved at Mid-Ohio last year, he'll be challenging for podium finishes at road courses.

Paul Tracy

Team: Newman-Haas

Because he had a few shunts last year, Tracy was 'dismissed' from Penske and joined another top team - Newman Haas, partnering Michael Andretti. At Vancouver last season, Tracy was critical of Andretti's driving, Hopefully there'll only be racetrack rivalry between the pair - the opposite of the situation last year with Michael's dad and legend Mario and another legend - Nigel Mansell.

Al Unser Jr

Team: Penske

The 1994 IndyCar Champion won't be driving flat out for race wins. Instead, Al will want high finishes in all catagories of circurts; road courses, ovals, super-speedways, and street circurts. He won a lot of his races last year on the ovals, and he'll be trying to establish his number one postion with early in the season.

Emmerson Fittipaldi

Team: Penske

Second to his team mate last season, 'Emmo' will want to beat his last year's record of one race win, and he will, as always, be on the pace. The era of a Penkse one - two - three race finish is gone, and it will now be a one - two finish, unless his nephew Christian can help it. Will Emmo be giving Christian tips on how to stay behind and watch how the more 'experienced' drivers race?

Robby Gordon

Team: Walker

Tyre smokin' Gordon will be hoping his Goodyears will be able to handle his speed at the road courses this year, and not blow up on him and they did a couple of times last year - the first corner (a harpin) at Toronto, going into turn 1 at Michigan at 220mph+! Did he lose it? Not a chance! I think Robby'll be running for the championship.

Christian Fittipaldi

Team: Walker

After two seasons with Minardi, and spending last year with Arrows in Formula 1, Christain opted for IndyCars instead of the third most watched telecast on television. In his first year, he'll be trying to show his consistancy and earn the repect of other drivers. It will be difficult for win, but podim finishes are probable.

Bobby Rahal

Team: Rahal-Hogan

Bobby wants to get more milage out of his new Mercedes that he got out of his lazy Honda last year, it letting him down on a lot of occasions. Rahal and new team mate Raul Boesel have done about 4, 000 miles of testing this year, at least 1, 000 more than any other of Rahal's years. Bobby will want to be with the other top drivers throughout the season, and will be battleing for wins.

Raul Boesel

Team: Rahal-Hogan

Raul is still looking for his first year in IndyCars, will he be successful with his new team rahal-Hogan? During testing at Phoenix International Raceway (P.I.R.), he's been swapping the best times with Newman-Haas's Paul Tracy. Raul will be fast on the ovals as he always is and should prove to be a threat for the top places in the championship.

Jacques Villeneuve

Team: Barry Green

With a win at Road America, a second place at Indianapoils, and the 1994 Rookie of The Year Award under his belt, Jacques will want to be among the top places more often than he was last year. His speed, along with Barry Green's expertise, will be a hard combination to be in '95.
