You are facing east, towards the Swan River, standing beside the building containing the UWA Tavern and Cameron Hall, with all manner of Clubs and societies therein. Behind you is a back passage entrance into the Guild Village; to your right is Shenton House, which is the center for Aboriginal and Torres Straight Island Students. In front of you is a car park (you have pay at this particular one), Hacket Drive, and then the foreshore and the river.
